Covidien Kendall AMD Antimicrobial Foam Dressing is developed to support your efforts in managing both moisture and bacterial balance. This dressing is an open-cell polyurethane foam dressing and is impregnated with 0.5 percent polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB) which is a highly effective and low-toxicity antiseptic. It is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and also works against yeast and fungi.
